timgray Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 I dont have a royale 1st gen. but I want to add a PTT button to transmit on the FRS radios my riding club like over the CB. many guys have bought one and they install over the left controls and the big box hangs over and feels flimsy... Not impressive for the $125.00 they paid for it from autocom. The one I have is a big fat rubber one that velcros on but feels uncomfortable. Anyone have a good one they installed on their bike? I'm looking at using a chatterbox CB-50 intercom and it has a mic out and speaker in that works with most radios and cellphones. The Midland setup I have now works but is not comfortable to use nor does it use the bikes power so a 3 hour ride has 1 and a half hours of no communication due to dead batteries.
