93 venture Posted February 1, 2009 #2 Posted February 1, 2009 Hello........... Still trying to get my new ride off the ground. I noticed that all the lights are working with the exception of the head light. Does anyone have a quick way to trouble shoot this? Thanks Bnkrbill Try spraying WD 40 in your starter switch, sometimes the switch sticks and will keep the headlight off.
BnkrBill Posted February 1, 2009 Author #3 Posted February 1, 2009 As soon as I read your suggestion I walked out in the garage. I was back inside in less than a minute and the lights WORK! This just saved me a boat load of time. I really appreciate it. Bill
Dano Posted February 1, 2009 #4 Posted February 1, 2009 Hey, even Darrin gets one right every once in awhile!!!! Hope the rest of the bike's coming along well. LOL Dan
Columbo Posted February 28, 2009 #5 Posted February 28, 2009 I have an 05 Midnight, RSV, is it common for the headlight assembly to move back when pushed from the front. I pushed it while cleaning it and waxing the bike and was told it is on a spring ? Wondering if thats what it is or is it missing a bolt ?
bobcat Posted March 1, 2009 #6 Posted March 1, 2009 Thats my favorite kind of fix.....A shot of WD 40 and alls right with the world again...
