No headlight

Still trying to get my new ride off the ground. I noticed that all the lights are working with the exception of the head light. Does anyone have a quick way to trouble shoot this?

Try spraying WD 40 in your starter switch,sometimes the switch sticks and will keep the headlight off.

As soon as I read your suggestion I walked out in the garage. I was back inside in less than a minute and the lights WORK!

 

This just saved me a boat load of time. I really appreciate it.

I have an 05 Midnight, RSV, is it common for the headlight assembly to move back when pushed from the front. I pushed it while cleaning it and waxing the bike and was told it is on a spring ? Wondering if thats what it is or is it missing a bolt ?

Thats my favorite kind of fix.....A shot of WD 40 and alls right with the world again...
