outlawauto38 Posted February 1, 2009 #1 Posted February 1, 2009 does anybody have the bazooka amp and speakers, model mc-yam-ak4,installed on thier bike, and if so how do you like it and have you had any problems? was the install easy?
Freebird Posted February 1, 2009 #2 Posted February 1, 2009 Haven't heard of anybody doing it. Do you have a link to the system?
Sylvester Posted February 1, 2009 #3 Posted February 1, 2009 I don't have them but I have a friend with an 06 RSV with them on it. Very loud, good bass and very clear. He has custom speakers also. I have been requested to install the Baker hi output stator on his bike since he is also running Tour Master heated clothing for him and his wife. He has all the techno goodies on it.
M61A1MECH Posted February 1, 2009 #4 Posted February 1, 2009 Here is a link I found. http://www.crutchfieldenespanol.com/crutchfield/enes/24/_www_crutchfield_com/p_204YAMAK4/Bazooka-Motorcycle-Audio-Kit.html?tp=139
Freebird Posted February 1, 2009 #5 Posted February 1, 2009 WOW...didn't even know that existed. Looks nice but I would sure want to hear it before spending that kind of money. You are still relying on the 4" speakers to get the sound out and I'm just not sure that you can get $500.00 worth of improvement out of any 4 way speakers.
Squidley Posted February 1, 2009 #6 Posted February 1, 2009 That is a nice looking setup, but I agree with Don $500 bones is a lot of cash, 'specially if you can't hear it 1st
Eck Posted February 1, 2009 #7 Posted February 1, 2009 $500.00 sure is a lot of mula..and definately out of my price range. I think I am happy with the sound of my bike as it is ...for now.
Celt Posted February 1, 2009 #9 Posted February 1, 2009 Thats cool, pricey but cool . Loud stereos save lives , well thats what i tell my riding mates (with loud pipes) at stop lights .
got2mnytoys Posted February 1, 2009 #10 Posted February 1, 2009 If everybody will send me a dollar or two ,I'll try it out and let you know if they're worth it or not. Then you want be out the whole $500 if it's not I've been watching hoping the price will come down (1st saw it in December 2008 don't know when it was actually released) crutchfield is about $50 cheaper than everywhere else so far. It's on my wish I had the money list right now.
outlawauto38 Posted February 1, 2009 Author #11 Posted February 1, 2009 i see bazooka also makes a sub to mount in your trunk that goes with this kit,but i agree that 500 is alot but quality does not come cheap. i will have to search around the web for reviews i see they make the same kit for goldwings, and ultras.
got2mnytoys Posted March 7, 2009 #13 Posted March 7, 2009 bought this and have installed it and run into a few problems, have emailed bazooka after they respond and how they respond will determine what kind of review it gets
Squeeze Posted March 7, 2009 #15 Posted March 7, 2009 It seems the Link provided doesn't work anymore, so i searched for another... http://store.bazooka.com/MC-YAM-AK4-Yamaha-Venture-99-07-4-Channel-Motorcycle-Audio-Kit-P315.aspx
