hkd51 Posted January 26, 2009 #1 Posted January 26, 2009 Thanks to Brian (tx2sturgis) I got motivated and learned how to edit a video, add some titles and music and then posted it to YouTube. The only thing I couldn't figure out is how to export that video from YouTube to this site. Can anyone help me out? In the meantime here is a link [ame= ] [/ame] And here I though that half helmets where a little risky. Harry
hkd51 Posted January 26, 2009 Author #2 Posted January 26, 2009 Well look at that would you, posting the link brings up a video screen to this site,(well you know what I mean) I'm so excited I could ... well you know.
Freebird Posted January 26, 2009 #3 Posted January 26, 2009 Yes, I have a hack installed here that will automatically imbed the video. All you have to do it copy and past the URL of the page to your post here.
hkd51 Posted January 26, 2009 Author #4 Posted January 26, 2009 Thanks Freebird! I googled "hack" but couldn't get a definition but no matter it works and that's all that really matters to me. Harry
scotty Posted January 26, 2009 #5 Posted January 26, 2009 Cool! that looks like fun, I wanna try. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=och7VhpSQ4g]YouTube - BC bike trip[/ame] Misc. vids from last year.
friesman Posted January 26, 2009 #6 Posted January 26, 2009 Het Scotty can you give us a rough idea of where you were and what highways you were on in your vid? Excellent vid by the way, makes me wish for spring even more so we can get to Nelson BC for the rally in July!!!! Brian
Guest tx2sturgis Posted January 26, 2009 #7 Posted January 26, 2009 Hey this looks like a trend. I'm glad we have members sharing videos they've created. I wonder if Freebird might be interested in creating a sub-board/forum just for these videos we create? Maybe move my thread and this one into the new forum? Just a thought.
scotty Posted January 26, 2009 #8 Posted January 26, 2009 the highways are: #8 from merritt to spences bridge #4 from port alberni to long beach #1 through rogers pass Scotty
Freebird Posted January 26, 2009 #9 Posted January 26, 2009 We already have a forum named "Videos" which is where we are now. Creating another one would be easy enough but I don't know that it is necessary.
PBJ Posted January 26, 2009 #10 Posted January 26, 2009 Scotty i agree with Friesman that was fantastic. Got my heart racing . the music was great too. Loved it I'm hot for spring too!
