Posted December 27, 2014 #26 Posted December 27, 2014 I have a 96 RS just bought it a few days ago.. have not gotten a manual yet. when I try to use the trip meter to gage my fuel since we only have a low fuel light it resets back to 0 every time I shut the bike off. Is this normal? This will happen when the bikes main battery is weak, when you go to start the bike the voltage drops too low to maintain the clock. I have said before..... don't ask how I know.
