OB-1 Posted January 20, 2009 #1 Posted January 20, 2009 It’s officially 50F., bright sunshine, little wind, and I still can’t ride. The road between the house and the nearest pavement is still covered in ICE and snow. What a bummer. Winter is supposed to return on Thursday, and it’s unlikely that the road will clear before we get more snow. It’s been that way all winter, when just one more day of clear weather would open the road, more snow arrives. I certainly don’t want the drought years to return, but at least we could ride in the winter then. I guess I'll be:draming: until I can
Squidley Posted January 20, 2009 #2 Posted January 20, 2009 Put it on the trailer and get it to dry pavement
utadventure Posted January 20, 2009 #3 Posted January 20, 2009 I don't know how the boss or the wife would feel about it, but, pick me up on the way!! Dave:innocent-emoticon:
OB-1 Posted January 20, 2009 Author #4 Posted January 20, 2009 Put it on the trailer and get it to dry pavement It's a Yamaha RSV so I don't have a trailer for it... But my neighbor down the road has a Harley and thus has a motorcycle trailer. I doubt if I could talk him into a ride, but maybe I can borrow his trailer.

86er Posted January 21, 2009 #8 Posted January 21, 2009 I have to say that I am jonesing so bad for a bike ride that if in your spot I would do just that! I know what you mean, Brad! With the night time lows in the 20s and leaving for work at 6am, if it weren't for a quick trip to the grocery store yesterday afternoon, I wouldn't have had a ride on the bike for 6 whole friggin days!!!
