knife makers????

Are there anay knife makers in the group? I'm looking to find a nice bone handle skinng knife. Problem is that I want it to funtion well but not be so nice that once I get it home it's too nice to take to the woods. Just ran into this problem. Bought one off of ebay. Paid less than 30 bucks deliverd, got it in my hands and then it went straight to the gun cabinet. Turned out to be a Ken Richardson signed original. Hence too nice for the woods.

Just looked up the website for your knife, what a good deal for you! Why not a Buck, Case or other name brand for a field knife? Good luck Rod

yeah i carry a buck 110 for now but just the whole nastlgia(spelling) of doing things the old fashion way. You no like with a bow and old style knife. Kinda like reincting. Also just thinkits kinda cool.
