AmnChode Posted January 17, 2009 Share #1 Posted January 17, 2009 At the New York International Motorcycle Show Honda released the Honda Fury, which was teased with last month... Basically, it is production chopper based off the 1300 VTX BUT it's 1312cc V-Twin is fuel injected...which is kinda odd to me being their actuall 1300 VTX is carburated... Too me, it is a littel late in the game and doesn't have near the style of a Yamaha Raider...but that is just me... Although, I do like that matte black... click here for more info

Marcarl Posted January 17, 2009 Share #3 Posted January 17, 2009 About one hour on that, and I'd be looking for my VENTURE.

cecdoo Posted January 17, 2009 Share #5 Posted January 17, 2009 About one hour on that, and I'd be looking for my VENTURE. If you need to spend an hour on it, the Bars up north are too far apart:banana: I like it. Craig

uechi kid Posted January 17, 2009 Share #8 Posted January 17, 2009 I think that Honda is about five years too last. The custom chopper boom has slowed down and recreational money is also tight. I don't think they will sell well now.
vtwinr Posted January 17, 2009 Share #9 Posted January 17, 2009 You would think that Honda would have learned something after the odd looking Valkyrie Rune, but the unorthodox bug must still be alive down at Honda. I'd take a Star Raider S in a heartbeat over that lean looking thing.
N3FOL Posted January 18, 2009 Share #10 Posted January 18, 2009 The bike for sure has a Bike Show appeal. Not my style of riding though. I give it a 'thumbs Up".

Stanman Posted January 18, 2009 Share #13 Posted January 18, 2009 That thing makes the Victory atrocity look good... Quite true, but I wouldn't spend a plug nickel for either one. (I like my Venture).

Sailor Posted January 18, 2009 Share #15 Posted January 18, 2009 I like it. Nice and clean. BUT how much horsepower does it make and how does it handle?
ahoutzer Posted January 18, 2009 Share #16 Posted January 18, 2009 I like it. Nice and clean. BUT how much horsepower does it make and how does it handle? Handle? Don't be silly. A bike like that is only for Hooter's on Thursday evenings. Put it in a trailer, park two lots down the road, then unload it and ride it to Hooter's. How good does the handling have to be for that?
