Monsta Posted January 15, 2009 #1 Posted January 15, 2009 So many threads about things that have gone wrong or need fixed I thought I'd go the other way. (I do this periodically) Unlike some of you (sorry ) I have the ability to ride year around. And I tell you, this RSV is just rock solid. It always starts, it always goes, it's always smooth, it's always comfortable. It always does whatever I ask of it. It is a fantastic scoot. I just flipped 50K on it. I took one of my daughters out yesterday on a 200 mile ride pulling the trailer (I was working actually). It feels good when all you have to do is concentrate on the road and the scenery and not have to worry about your bike. Here's to you folks in the frozen parts of the Mainland to a quick spring so you can get out and ride your RSV!

Guest Shep Posted January 15, 2009 #5 Posted January 15, 2009 Now now - let's not get envious boys.....just because Ken lives in some of the most beautiful county in the world! Ken - got to go over last year for the first time. Saw the USS Arizona memorial - then on to Maui for the rest of the trip. It was wonderful. We get about 8-9 months of riding here is sunny Phoenix - 12 if you can stomach the heat! Shep

RedRider Posted January 16, 2009 #9 Posted January 16, 2009 50K on a 99 with a year round riding season???? What's going on??? You need to recall he has somewhat of a geography limitation. How far can you travel on a small island? 50K is pretty impressive on an island that is only 60 miles from side to side and tip to bottom. However, that year round riding season has to be nice. -14F this morning, -6F now, and going to -19F tonight. This is without the windchill. Send some warmth this way please. RR
