I use to be able to go under "Member list" and you could scroll down and search by state. I can't seem to figure out how to do that with the new set up? :bawling:Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance,

It MAY be back soon. I'm actually trying to simplify what it takes when I have to upgrade the software here. That is a custom mod that I had done and requires a lot of programming every time. I've added a sort function where you can go to the members list and click on the top of the state column and it will sort by state and province. It seems to work pretty well.

If that doesn't work out, I'll go ahead and reprogram the it the way it was.

I'm guessing it has something to do with Don still putting things back in after a software upgrade. I'm sure it'll be back soon.

Man I hope so...... I didn't realize how much I used it? LOL

I get one end "Yukon" or the other when I hit sort by state, anything in between I have to start going through the pages. But I'll learn to live with it, I don't mean to make you do extra work just for me! :innocent-emoticon:

OK....I've put it back the way it was for now. I still have some work to do on the Navbar but it should be working as it was. You are SUCH a pain in the butt. :)

There were a lot of hidden changes in the Navbar with this upgrade. Mostly to do with notifications and etc. The members list is not working as it did in that it sort of opens to the left side. Maybe I can figure out something to make it better later but I think it will do for now.

Are you still making some adjustments to this? I don't see the link to the member list at the top at all anymore. It used to be up there next to User CP, didn't it?

I just now spotted the link at the bottom of the page.

I have wished in the past that there was a way to search for a member's name directly, instead of having to sift through the entire list until I find it. It's also possible that it's already here somewhere and I don't know it.

Well, there is a "Search Members" button on the right side of the Member List header that seems to work fine.

Well, there it is. I know there are features on here I don't know about.

Is the member list link going to stay at the bottom, or will there be one back on the top again?

That's funny, on the "Home" page, the Member's List is still on the Nav bar by itself. On every other page (haven't really them all),the "Community" button is in its place. :puzzled:

No big deal to me. Just interresting in light of this thread.

Ah, so it is. I just can't keep up with everything anymore.

I understand. I can promise you though that I don't typically change things just for the sake of changing them. As new releases of software come out, there are usually changes. Some are just for security updates but there are always a few new "features" added and sometimes they aren't features that we really care for. I can often remove and restore things to the way that they were but it's not always possible as one feature is often very intertwined with another.

I am able to click on top of membership line under state and have them sort Alpha by State.

Yes, you can sort by several of the header listings. Username, Join Date, State/Province, last visit.
