FutureVentures Posted January 9, 2009 #1 Posted January 9, 2009 Soooooo glad Blago has been impeached! Did you happen to see his recent speech? OMG, this guy is completely nuts. Not a political rant in anyway, this is REALLY entertaining, in a crazy way.
stvmaier Posted January 9, 2009 #2 Posted January 9, 2009 I agree....Good Riddins!! Although I missed his speach.....I'm SURE it'll be on the news.
mini-muffin Posted January 9, 2009 #3 Posted January 9, 2009 It was very entertaining. Evidently according to him he's being impeached because he was such a good Gov. They could never make a movie like this because nobody would ever believe it. Margaret
Snarley Bill Posted January 9, 2009 #4 Posted January 9, 2009 i think his wife has got an awful fowl mouth too.
Redneck Posted January 9, 2009 #5 Posted January 9, 2009 He is a prime extreme example of what happens to many of our elected officials of all party's. they get in power and they feel they are entitled and are above the rules and bullet proof.
Rottdoglover Posted January 9, 2009 #6 Posted January 9, 2009 BloBlo reminds me so much of a former President that kept saying "I am not a crook". What happend to him? Oh yeah, Empeached then Resigned. Maybe our OTHER crooked Gov. can introduce Blo to some new friends in the big house. Hope so
Chinto Posted January 9, 2009 #7 Posted January 9, 2009 I wonder how many millions of dollars it will cost to finally get it done.
86er Posted January 10, 2009 #8 Posted January 10, 2009 Let's see now..............The corrupt politicians in Illinois are telling the governor that he is too corrupt? Isn't that a little like Willie Nelson telling you you're smoking too much pot!?! Or Rush Limbaugh saying to cut back on the Oxycontin!

Not a political rant in anyway, this is REALLY entertaining, in a crazy way. I haven't followed this story to strongly so the "he said > they said" are vague to me at best. One question though was the money he was said to be asking for Obamas seat to be used for his own use or was it to go for some "party" business? Either way it is BS and he does need to go. What ever happened to tar and feathering?

What ever happened to tar and feathering? The actualization is he wanted money for himself and a high paying cushy job when he leaves office the way I understand it.

Guest msegelle Posted January 10, 2009 #12 Posted January 10, 2009 I was in some state offices the day he was arrested I never saw so many happy state workers in my life!
Captainkirk Posted January 10, 2009 #13 Posted January 10, 2009 What's REALLY funny is how he thinks he did nothing wrong or "outside the norm".....(for Chicago politics, I guess). This guy is on another planet. Hey, maybe he and George Ryan can be cellmates!
GeorgeS Posted January 10, 2009 #14 Posted January 10, 2009 Are the good people of Ill. going to demand a Special election for the Senate Seat ??? Or will the state let the appointment stand as is ??
