Condor Posted January 9, 2009 #1 Posted January 9, 2009 Lately I can believe some of the stuff sellers are listing on Ebay. Dirty, rusted, looks like they drug the bike out of Freebird's pond, and they expect a venture rider to bid on it??? It's happening more and more. Are they that hard up... or dumb??? I'da tossed it in the dumpster. EXAMPLE

lonestarmedic Posted January 9, 2009 #3 Posted January 9, 2009 Don't feel like grabbing the exact link but there is one on for saddlebag guards that look like Condor had them hoisted up a jib for storage!! I also get a kick out of the buy it now for $2.00 and shipping is $500.00. Who are they kidding? I realize the scam is to avoid paying the percentage for the selling price. I refuse to purchase from anyone who does this. JB

JB It also really affects the amount that a buyer can get back in refund as they do not have to refund the shipping... Sadly, eBay = Caveat emptor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Edited January 9, 2009 by KiteSquid
Rottdoglover Posted January 9, 2009 #6 Posted January 9, 2009 I'm gonna get rich selling junk on Ebay! I think that is the mentality of a lot of sellers. Take a minute to report the dirtbag sellers. Ebay doesn't like being screwed (when it happens to them that is)
N3FOL Posted January 9, 2009 #7 Posted January 9, 2009 There are only certain items that I will buy from eBay and it has to be from a seller with excellent reputation. Otherwise, I am not hard pressed on getting that particular item. Most of the time, I look at eBay as a means of 'window shopping' online.
