KarlS Posted January 8, 2009 #1 Posted January 8, 2009 I have the NEW rotor specs for 83 venture but would like to know the discard specs for the rotors. ( if there is discard specs ). If too thin I want to replace them.

Yes there is a minimum thickness but I'm not sure of it but you can usually find it in the TM. Bottom line, if the runout is OK and there are no major groves, keep using it unless you like paying around $150 or more for new rotors...
KarlS Posted January 8, 2009 Author #3 Posted January 8, 2009 Had no plans to turn them, runout good, no grooves. In TM I have only shows specs when new. Just wanted to be sure they were not to thin. Only 42,000 miles on bike so they should be fine. Thank You.
