SilvrT Posted January 6, 2009 #7 Posted January 6, 2009 We're getting basically the same here and considering we got close to a foot of snow 2 days ago ontop of the rest of the snow we already had, we are in for some serious problems associated to the rainfall amounts and the mild temps. As an example, anyone who has a building with a flat top roof is being warned to clear the drains and/or remove the snow from the roof. There's already been a complete rec centre c/w swimming pool demolished by the weight of the wet snow and at least one apartment building has been evacuated due to structural damage caused by same conditions. Our whole local news broadcast is consumed by the weather and it effects...I can only imagine what will be on the news tonight as it's been raining heavilly all day so far.
