Uturn Posted January 4, 2009 #1 Posted January 4, 2009 [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDBDkVI0Cn4]YouTube - Human bobsled vs. motorcycle[/ame] I saw this and wonder if it's the prototype for a 3rd Gen? Disadvantage - NO 2UP Advantage - Ignition switch won't go BAD ...right RiderDuke?? MIKE aka Uturn
nelsonrl Posted January 4, 2009 #2 Posted January 4, 2009 I don't think so - no where to put the cassette player.
flb_78 Posted January 4, 2009 #3 Posted January 4, 2009 I don't think so - no where to put the cassette player. They throw in a free Sony Walkman!!! http://blog.makezine.com/4641903_69d553df11.jpg
mraf Posted January 5, 2009 #5 Posted January 5, 2009 Anythings possible. The size of the average Venture rider would split this 3rd gen to pieces though. Can you imagine how big a semi tire would look to you on the interstate at 70 mph.
Dragonslayer Posted January 5, 2009 #7 Posted January 5, 2009 Brakes? We don't need no sticking Brakes!!!!!
dynodon Posted January 5, 2009 #8 Posted January 5, 2009 Obviously a contrived win, the bike was laying back so the guy could pass, and taking a wrong line during those times. Entertaining, but about as legit as a pro wrestling event.! LOL Plus, why don't they turn the bike and human around and try it uphill....how fast is human skateboard going to feel then? Heck I could beat that guy uphill on my first gen in first gear only.....maybe.
Squeeze Posted January 5, 2009 #9 Posted January 5, 2009 That Rider is a slow Poke, he never really tried to take a Corner with even some Effort. What about some plain old Skate Boarding .... at 75 mph down a steep Part of the Autobahn near Stuttgart. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=piIpz1tewEg
PBJ Posted January 5, 2009 #10 Posted January 5, 2009 Yeah it did look a bit staged but then again there where some pretty steep switch backs and you can't take those too fast, The bike looked like a Honda 919.but it was fun to watch and looked like fun too. I'd give it a try.
roadwarrior Posted January 6, 2009 #11 Posted January 6, 2009 I think I will stick with my 2nd generation.
Tartan Terror Posted January 6, 2009 #12 Posted January 6, 2009 I saw this and wonder if it's the prototype for a 3rd Gen? Disadvantage - NO 2UP Well If you turned him over and put the wheels on the back you may be able to have a passenger!!
