Freebird Posted January 1, 2009 #1 Posted January 1, 2009 The good news is that my Garmin Zumo 550 arrived today. The bad news is that it arrived about 2 hours after I left. That's life. My son called to tell me that it had arrived but Eileen and I had already left for our 4 day anniversary vacation. It gives me something to look forward to when I get home though. Except for all of that: HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY VENTURERIDER FRIENDS!
BEER30 Posted January 1, 2009 #2 Posted January 1, 2009 What ! Did your Garmin get lost for 2 hours ? Happy New Years to you too , Boss ! BEER30
mini-muffin Posted January 1, 2009 #3 Posted January 1, 2009 You have a nice New Year as well. Now don't get back on here till you get home. You and Eileen have a great time, we'll hold down the fort till you get back. Nothing for you to worry about. What's the worst thing that could happen? Margaret

Eck Posted January 2, 2009 #19 Posted January 2, 2009 Well I personally think it is a GOOD thing that your GPS didnt arrive sooner boss.... I mean going on a four day anniversary trip and all...I really don't think you wife would really appreciate you playing with an electronic gismo more that paying attention to her for the next four days... Count it as a blessing that it didn't arrive sooner my friend.
Rocket Posted January 6, 2009 #20 Posted January 6, 2009 BET THAT POND IS COLD!!:snow2: Isn't there a hot tub at his place, much better for this time of year........:rotf: The pond monsters probably take it over, in the wintertime......

Freebird Posted January 6, 2009 Author #24 Posted January 6, 2009 That was YOUR speedo? I thought it was a sling shot. No wonder I couldn't hit anything with it. I just figured it was worn out because it looked all stretched out.
Venturous Randy Posted January 6, 2009 #25 Posted January 6, 2009 That was YOUR speedo? I thought it was a sling shot. No wonder I couldn't hit anything with it. I just figured it was worn out because it looked all stretched out. Stretched out in the rear portion. RandyA
