adventurer 08 Posted December 31, 2008 Share #1 Posted December 31, 2008 First thing happy new year to all. second has anyone used the Haul-Master wheel chock from harbor freight. it is a lot cheaper than ones i have used in the past but it states it does the same job. my biggest concern is the weight of my rsv. it looks like it should work. BEER30 Posted January 1, 2009 Share #2 Posted January 1, 2009 If you are referring to Haul-Master item# 96349-2VGA , I have one and it works pretty good .You have to lower the rocking arm to the lowest position . I still have stock sized front tire on my scoot to mention . At first I thought the front tire would not fit , but it does with no issue . I wouldn't hesitate to buy another if needed . Mine is mounted on my 5'x10' trailer . BEER30
Gold Rush Posted January 1, 2009 Share #3 Posted January 1, 2009 Yes I use them and they work quite will... I have two mounted in my cargo trailer. One for the MM and one for my GL1800 Goldwing. Thanks to my short legs I have a bit of difficulty getting the MM backed out but not that much trouble. The Wing has the reverse gear so it pulls itself out OK.... As previously said you'll need to position the rocker in the lower position for the RSV. I used the middle position of the Wing because of the rotor covers ... For the money I think you will find these hard to beat. :whistling: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v208/01REDWING/th_0708GettingClose.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v208/01REDWING/th_FirstLoadMMChock.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v208/01REDWING/th_FirstLoadFront-1.jpg
BEER30 Posted January 1, 2009 Share #4 Posted January 1, 2009 Gold Rush , What size enclosed trailer do you have ? In the future , I will be looking for one to place the RSV and the BEERCART into . The BEERCART is 45" wide . BEER30
phochief Posted January 1, 2009 Share #5 Posted January 1, 2009 I have the $59.99 one from Harbor Freight, made by US General, model 97841-3VGA. It's very sturdy and easily holds my RSV securely upgright. LINK David
