N3FOL Posted December 31, 2008 #26 Posted December 31, 2008 I got mine on Oct. 11, 08 and I added a whopping 2023 miles to date.
Herb In Texas Posted December 31, 2008 #27 Posted December 31, 2008 Did you buy your bike used or brand new? Of the 19,998 miles, how many of those miles are actually yours? If they are all your miles, I rest my case for I will never break your record. Except for the 7 the test ride kid at the dealer did they are mine.
N3FOL Posted December 31, 2008 #28 Posted December 31, 2008 Your mileage is just impressive. That would be almost 4000 miles per month.
pick Posted December 31, 2008 #29 Posted December 31, 2008 Redbeards got right at 240K on his 99. Still runs great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
N3FOL Posted January 1, 2009 #30 Posted January 1, 2009 240K for a '99 is impressive. This tells you that the Venture engine is capable given proper maintenance. What would really impress me is for someone to say that an '05 or say '06 Venture with over 200K miles...but this is just very unrealistic.
wild hair 39 Posted January 1, 2009 #31 Posted January 1, 2009 i put a few mls on my vr,s,89 and 86,have put about 65,000 on the voyager, but thank i will start looking for newer voyager, don,t thank the voyager, has the relibility,of the venture, voyager has 124,000 on it,still runs good, but just a gut feeling
N3FOL Posted January 1, 2009 #32 Posted January 1, 2009 Kawasaki fans are looking forward to the new Voyager. I have not seen one at a dealership yet, but have heard from a lot of Kawa forum members who went to Bike shows that the styling and the new size engine looks promising (1700 cc) V-Twin. We are planning to ride down to Chantilly, Va. this coming Saturday for the Bike Show...weather permitting and am also looking forward to actually see the Voyager in person.
Sylvester Posted January 8, 2009 #33 Posted January 8, 2009 I saw Mr. T's 99 Venture at Star Days in 05 and he was just nearing 200k at that time. I have just under 100k on my 02 RSMV.
TOP_ADA Posted July 28, 2011 #34 Posted July 28, 2011 I just had Kenda Kruz tires put on my 09 Venture S. I read many threads and sounded like they are good tires. The shop that put them on for me was not happy about them. They said they are to hard and if I drop it to low on a corner I will drop it. From what I read many riders liked them. I pick my bike up tomorrow and will get the first ride in. My question is: Is anyone riding on them and having any issues and what tire pressure? I do have another ? what determans a 1st and 2nd generation Venture. Thanks TOP HOOAH!

Mike G in SC Posted August 4, 2011 #37 Posted August 4, 2011 83K miles on my '06 RSTD, 31k on my '09 RSV. And only put 10k on my Explorer last year,, LOL.
TOP_ADA Posted June 28, 2012 #38 Posted June 28, 2012 I bought a pair last year and I like them. Have about 4500 miles on them already and very little wear. I've rode them in 30 degree, 90+ degrees and in the rain I think they handle very well. I've had to lock the brakes up a couple times and they grabbed well. I was told I would not like them by local dealer and I know why now, I'm not buying another set of tires at 4000 mi. Have about a 6000 mi trip coming up in Jul and I don't think I'll need to change them after that either. Just my two cents. Ride safe, HOOAH! Top
