Eck Posted December 26, 2008 #2 Posted December 26, 2008 No gift or anything purchased could have been better than just having everyone in our family coming over and being together for the first time in fourteen years was the best ever. We are all planning to do it again next year already..
rickyga Posted December 26, 2008 #3 Posted December 26, 2008 Got a pair of chaps and a lot of good food
SilvrT Posted December 26, 2008 #4 Posted December 26, 2008 I told my wife... "no clothing" (she loves to buy me clothes). What do I get? ... clothing! socks, shorts, pants, boots, t-shirts, thermal bottoms.... well, she did good coz I needed all of it! But I got no CHROME! My son's left mirror on his Sportster fell off last summer...kinda vibrated loose...a nature of the beast. Since then I rib him about Harleys loosing parts from vibration, etc. I got him a new mirror for Christmas...when he opened it I said "son, I bought you a new Harley but by the time I got home, all the other parts vibrated off and this mirror is all I have left" LOL (now you HD guys... it's only in jest!)

Freebird Posted December 26, 2008 #6 Posted December 26, 2008 I got a new GPS. Eileen was so excited and so was I when I opened it. I've looked at them for a couple of years but just didn't want to spend the money. I think though that I'm going to return it. Great screen and etc. but it's a TomTom Rider and the quick study that I've done on it just leads me to the conclusion that it's not what I want. I love that woman though and she really did do good.
bongobobny Posted December 26, 2008 #7 Posted December 26, 2008 Of course the greatest gift is Jesus Christ but there is a shiny new 33 gallon air compressor in my garage as well! I also have a $50 gift certificate for Lowe's so something tells me I'm going to buy some air tools today... How's the belt buckle look, Tom??
ronhenry4 Posted December 26, 2008 #8 Posted December 26, 2008 I got one of the best gifts in the world... a lot of new friends right here though they all seem to have this problem with riding almost a disorder......:big-grin-emoticon::big-grin-emoticon:
bongobobny Posted December 26, 2008 #9 Posted December 26, 2008 Yes, this is an EATING club with a riding disorder...

Sleeperhawk Posted December 26, 2008 #11 Posted December 26, 2008 I told you guys, the Mechanic was going to get a lump of coal in her stocking for being 'Naughty' and that is exactly what she got. By the way, she had tears in her eyes when she saw the coal, so who says women don't like coal in their stockings. She even gave me a

Midrsv Posted December 26, 2008 #13 Posted December 26, 2008 I received some new "safety" chrome passenger floorboards from my wife. I guess technically they are her's since she is the only one that will use them. DT
FJR Rider Posted December 26, 2008 #14 Posted December 26, 2008 Cathy got me a Trunk Lid Organizer (Choko, out of the Shade Tree Catalog) made specifically for the RSV. Was a present to me, but it will organize her trunk junk . Also got Clement Salvadori's "101 Road Tales".

VTirelli Posted December 27, 2008 #16 Posted December 27, 2008 Actually, my wife and daughter put alot of thought into my Christmas gift and it's one of the nicest I ever got. I was wondering why she started asking about my football past since I'm a BIG NY Giants fan (no comments please). I played semi pro ball back in the days, actually got a scholarship to U of Colorado, but got hurt in summer training so I got dumped. Sam actually got me a custom made football jersey with my old number on it. Must have cost her a small fortune because they don't make those maroon and gold color combinations anymore. I have to be careful because I don't want to wear this out and I see how hard it was for her to get.
Guest JGorom Posted December 27, 2008 #17 Posted December 27, 2008 Seeing family and friends was my best gift...and oh yeah...the wife got me a $25.00 gift certificate for Dunkin Donuts. Haven't had their coffee (my favorite) in over a year now!
