International Motorcycle Shows - Michigan

Ok folks it's mc show time once again here in Michigan. This year it's on Jan 2nd - 4th at Rock Financial Showplace

46100 Grand River Avenue

Novi, MI 48374

As in the past I plan on going on Saturday with breakfast at the Big Boy prior to the opening. Who else may be there? I'll start a list here and we can figure out what works best for everyone.

I do not have to work on jan. 2 friday so my wife and i are going that afternoon. were hoping for a smaller crowd there. anybody going friday? if so maybe we can meet up.

After much consideration I'll be having breakfast at Leon's Family Restaurant in Dearborn. It's on Michigan Ave. (north side) just east of Telegraph rd. at 9 am. We'll go straight to the show from there. For those who can make it there good, others we'll see you at the show. One reason I switched from Big Boy was that it was super busy there the last couple of times we did this. So ended up getting into the show later than excepted.

Yep Brad it's still on for Saturday. Don't have the addy now but it's easy to find. Take I-94 to Telegraph, north on Telegraph to Michigan Ave, then head east on Mich. Ave. Leon's is about 1/4 mile up the road on north side of street. If you remember where the Bob Evans restraunt is it's just across the street from it.

Looks like Deb and I wont make the show. Have to go to Muskegon Mi. tomorrow and wont be back till Sat. afternoon. Hope we can meet up again another time.

We were there today. None of us (6) had been there before, so it was our first experience. Have to say that it was a little disappointing, in comparison to the Toronto Show (also happening this weekend). This one (Novi) did have some real good displays of the new bikes, but not nearly as many vendors for accessories, leathers, etc.

 

I did see the 09 RSV (yes, that's right, the one with the CD player that takes up half the storage space in the left saddle bag)... ... and did get a chance to sit on the new Kawi Voyager ...
