Here in Central Ohio on Buckeye Lake and in the winter when the lake was solidly frozen over, they used to have winter bike racing and all the bikes had those spiked tires. I never got to see a race but had many people tell me about them.

Man that brings back memories! Back in the '70 we raced on Carter lake here in Nebraska. All we ran was dirt bikes with the tires spiked but that was more than enough of a rush to keep the blood from freezing up!

It wasn't until years later that we went "What the hell were we thinking!"

I'd do it again. :big-grin-emoticon:

I thought that looked like a Michigan plate on that bike, Cass lake is about 50 miles from us here. Even heard Running Free from Iron Maiden, listened to them all the time when I was young

When you were young ?? Ok, growing old is mandatory ...

But why stop to hear good Music ??

This is the Music of my Youth and i'm sticking to it. Well Sort of ....

This was the Age were Musicans where able to make Music even without Electricity, unplugged as it's called nowadays. They were able to "hand craft" their Art, Music, so to speak, a very rare Art in today's Pop Culture, when you ask me.
