Mariner Fan Posted December 22, 2008 #4 Posted December 22, 2008 My outside thermometer says 0 degrees. The wind is blowing like crazy so I'd hate to think what the wind chill would be.
Dano Posted December 22, 2008 #5 Posted December 22, 2008 My outside weather rock says anything thats wet (like a tongue) will stick to it! We're twice as warm in Indy, only 2 degrees.
ibents Posted December 22, 2008 #6 Posted December 22, 2008 We've got it darn cold right now, -17C and with the wind chill -30, hope there are no brass monkeys out there. Ian

bongobobny Posted December 22, 2008 #8 Posted December 22, 2008 Just woke up to find no water due to a frozen line. Fun? Wow!!!
DragonRider Posted December 22, 2008 #9 Posted December 22, 2008 I am getting ready to leave for work and its 5:10 am, when I got up at 4:30 it was 21 degrees, its now 19 degrees..........balmy compared to you, I will be riding the bike to work today as usual. Hope it warms up for you guys up north..............Im just glad I dont have to worry about the white fluffy stuff, that stuff makes bike riding kinda tough........
waterbug Posted December 22, 2008 #10 Posted December 22, 2008 I had to take the kids home sun and they said on the radio there was 30 mph winds and didnt catch the gusts, the temp was 5 with a wind chill of -18. It was nice and sunny out sunday morning when I got up to go get the paper and thought about ridding the bike til I stepped outside. Its supposed to be colder today from what the paper said hopefully we wont have the winds.
eazyduzzit Posted December 22, 2008 #11 Posted December 22, 2008 It's 14 here in Knoxville. I won't be riding to work this morning. I may even start my truck and let the heater warm up before I leave.
Skid Posted December 22, 2008 #12 Posted December 22, 2008 A chilling 8 F degrees and a skif of snow in central West Virginia this morning.....
PBJ Posted December 22, 2008 #14 Posted December 22, 2008 Only 11 degrees here in New York. The windchill is close to 14 below in some parts with the wind gusts up to 35mph. BBBBRRRRRRR! But members in the western part of the state nearer buffalo are getting hit hard with blowing snow comming off Lake Erie. The New York Thruway is closed from Rochester west all the way to the Pennsylvania border.
BoomerCPO Posted December 22, 2008 #15 Posted December 22, 2008 15F here in the woods of Lebanon. We have over 20 inches of snow on the ground and wind gusts of up to 35mph. Sure glad I have a 4x4..............
RedRider Posted December 22, 2008 #16 Posted December 22, 2008 Woke up to -9F this morning. Was a high of 1F yesterday with high winds. The radio said -35F wind chill. Al Gore must be in the neighborhood giving a Global Warming Scarinar. It seems wherever he shows up to give one a winter storm happens. RR
