2WHEELSFORME Posted December 22, 2008 #1 Posted December 22, 2008 Are any Midnight seat sets made without the chrome studs?
Uturn Posted December 22, 2008 #2 Posted December 22, 2008 I think they are the same except for the studs. I have a friend that may would trade his for one with studs. His is also black (without studs) and like new. Keep the rubber side down. MIKE aka Uturn
Jerry W Posted December 22, 2008 #3 Posted December 22, 2008 I don't think all years of the Midnight RSV had the studs. The seat pans are the same for the RSV whether they have studs or not.
Color01 Posted December 22, 2008 #5 Posted December 22, 2008 My midnight has the studs .. and I would love to have the non stud pillow top seats for mine.
2WHEELSFORME Posted December 23, 2008 Author #6 Posted December 23, 2008 I would trade my studded midnight seat for a non studded midnight seat. I do not want a pillowtop seat it has to be the firmer midnight type.
Eddie Posted December 23, 2008 #7 Posted December 23, 2008 until the last year of the midnight all the midnight seats were studded. This is the same seat that came on all the RSVs before the pillow top came out minus the studs.
SilvrT Posted December 23, 2008 #8 Posted December 23, 2008 A few weeks ago (when we had no snow and it was still warm enuf to ride) I stopped in at a local Yammie dealer and was chatting with a salesman...he asked "is your Midnight a US model?" ... I said NO...why? ... he said he hadn't seen many midnight ventures with the studded seat before...only ones from the US. I said as far as I knew, all midnights came with the studded seat. Personally, I like it and it goes with the overall look of the bike.
