Yammer Dan Posted December 20, 2008 #4 Posted December 20, 2008 no im pretty sure of my second Gen. Thats what I ment. It causes senses of false security and makes you see things that aren't there. Like the 1st gen in your rear view. Just a dream!!
davecb Posted December 20, 2008 #5 Posted December 20, 2008 Every day, go out to your bike. usse semichrome on the floorboards. After 25 years of doing this, they will look like chrome. Now, if you want it done faster, ask Greyfox what he used. His look great... I agree the blue/black is faster.
flb_78 Posted December 20, 2008 #6 Posted December 20, 2008 The boards are aluminum. Polish them yourself for the cost of the polish and beer.
Roadhand Posted December 20, 2008 #7 Posted December 20, 2008 I have the stock passenger boards I will part with but they are not chrome
Condor Posted December 20, 2008 #8 Posted December 20, 2008 I have the stock passenger boards I will part with but they are not chrome Here's an example of a polished aluminum board off a 1stGen. Cost about $40 bucks to have the parts buffed out. Cheaper than buying new ones....
Lone Eagle Posted December 20, 2008 #9 Posted December 20, 2008 Hey, Jack - that was a lot of beer - to get those nice like that - good on ya.
