GG54172 Posted July 8, 2007 #2 Posted July 8, 2007 I don't have them personally, but a buddy has a set on his 1100 shadow. I will ask him what he thinks.
Ozark Posted July 8, 2007 #3 Posted July 8, 2007 I have a set on my bike. They were on it when I bought it. Look nice and don't get too hot in the sun, but I always wear gloves. They're not as comfortable as foam grips, but no real discomfort after several hours in the saddle. Hope this helps some.

The ones that I have the rubber ridges protrude slightly above the metal. If that is how these are, then, I would say they are the best grips I've ever purchased for any bike. If the rubber does not protrude, then I wouldn't own them. The raised rubber ridges make it very easy and comfortable to use the throttle. If the rubber is not raised, however, it would take a lot stronger grip to keep the throttle from slipping and then you can look for cramps in the forearm. Although foam grips are very comfortable, I have found that they deteriorate pretty quickly. Might just be me getting some kind of solvent or gas on them but over the years I've had to replace the foam ones every year or two. Dick

Dick I took a closer look at those and went and looked at mine and they are different. On those the rubber and metal are the same height. I wouldn't want them. Dick
bongobobny Posted July 9, 2007 #6 Posted July 9, 2007 I have looked at those, but never bought. Before you bid, go to www.jcwhitney.com and look at what they offer for handlebar grips. There is a pair that looks a lot like those only cheaper... These http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Product/tf-Browse/s-10101/Pr-p_Product.CATENTRY_ID:2002125/p-2002125/N-111+10211+600014737/c-10111
