Just wondering if anyone has a 1st generation charging stator that is burned up that I might be able to talk you out of? I have some ideas that I want to experiment with and I need an old burned up/damaged stator

G2 Dano, he's got an '08

Might want to see if Ruffy down in Florida still has the one he replaced from his. HalRSV99 also replaced one and he's in Ontario Canada.

I think I might have one also. Would have to look around at the shop a little bit but I did replace one a few years back and I don't remember throwing it away.

Good luck wit the rewind,

Not that i doubt raceman's Abilities, but as skinny as you are, i'd give that a second Thought !!

Naw, skinny enuff that I just pass through most solids........

Thinking of adding some warm gear, knowing my stator isn't up to snuff to handle the load. I have my driving lights on all the time when I'm riding, notice a HUGE drain while I'm stopped. Could be that cheap Interstate gell battery I bought instead of the Odyssey. I'm starting to think it won't hold a load without the stator charging full, even tho its 22 amp/hour.

I'll let yall know how I come out after I am finished and test one or two.....If I can't beef it up for more output, maybe I can rewind them stock for less than a new one costs....We'll see!!

Danob11...thanks for sending me one!!

I got one I just changed out a couple of months ago.

The higher output stators from Buckeye all need to be hard wired into place. From what I understand the higher output fries the plastic connector under the bike. I'd venture (pun intended) to say that any stator wired for more output needs to be hard wired in.
