Lovin the new tires

Hello guys,

Just wanted to put in my two cents worth. I took your advice and got new rubber for my '05 Venture. I went with the Avon Venom X plus I changed out the size on the front tire to the MT90B16 (130/90). I'm not sure how much of the improvement is from the new tread and tire and how much is from the narrower width, but this bike handles so much better now it's unbelievable.

I also discovered in the process that my local dealer (Family Power Sports) here in San Angelo, TX. is selling their tires at dealer cost to try an build their service business. I got the tires for $105 on the front and $115 on the rear with no shipping cost. But if you are close enough to buy from them, DON'T HAVE THEM INSTALL THEM! Their service department sucks.

Just a minor heads up on these tires. I have about 3k miles on mine. I love them! But watch those cool/cold mornings. They seem to be a little slippery until they warm up. I do love how they handle and don't regret getting them at all! Enjoy!

They are a Great Tire!!! Switching to the front 130 is a good choice also. This year we put 5500 miles on trip out West and never a problem. We had Hot weather, and also pouring down rain, the Avon Venom's Reacted Great. I will Thank Squidley again for recommending them. Oh, I have over 8500 miles on this second set and the tire tread is still very good on front and back. Later-
