Herb In Texas Posted December 4, 2008 Author Posted December 4, 2008 Thanks Squidly, I need to learn how to do this computer stuff. I really apreciate the help. I built this trailer to haul horse feed home on my way from work. Was a real pain to go home get the pickup Pay 4+ dollars for diesel then go back to town and pick up feed. I can haul 5 bales of alfalfa at one time. then the next day I can get 4 equine senior and 4 oats. Then the next day I can get enough goat feed to last a month. I plan to build a water tight enclosure for going out of town later this winter. By the way I built the hitch on the bike also. Thanks to venture dad for the good pictures on here. For lights I put in one of those deals from Hoppy to convert to standard taillights for the trailer. I bought the one that has protection from shorts and pulls power from the battery. cost around 50.00 from Northern Tool. When I installed it on the bike I took apart the conector to the rear lighting and soldered the wires piggy back on the spade conectors. It looks factory installed that way. then the control box tucked in neatly behind the battery. All the connectons on the trailer are soldered as well. I hate lighting problems on the side of the road. Again thanks for the help. Herb:Venture:
Squidley Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Good work Herb as I have heard it said before "necessity is the mother of invention" that surely rings true in your case
