Aimhigh Posted December 3, 2008 #3 Posted December 3, 2008 Thank you for posting this video. The young lady did a very good job. The message is right on, REMEMBER...Our military men and women are why we can sit and surf the net, drive anywhere in our Nation, and say and do the things we do...all in the comfort of knowing that THEY are keeping us safe. God Bless them ALL...no one hates war than the military...let's hope they are able to come home soon.
davecb Posted December 4, 2008 #4 Posted December 4, 2008 Aw, man...You guys gotta stop putting stuff like this on here. The first funeral I ever went to was a friend of mine killed in Nam. I spent 20 years in the Army, two tours in Nam. Got no welcome home...Everybody looked at you like you were a baby killer. They never saw a 6 year old kid toss a grenade at you. It's amazing, I watch the same people that were against the Vietnam war walk up to our soldiers today and thank them. At least, todays soldiers are recognized for protecting our country. My son is in Iraq right now. I can't say much about what he does, but he is a intelligence agent. He will be home by the middle of January. PLEASE...NEVER FORGET the what the Military does for you. To keep you safe...So you never have to worry about what your life will be like without them...Pardon me...It's hard to type with tears comomg from my eyses...... DaveCB
DragonRider Posted December 4, 2008 #5 Posted December 4, 2008 I saw that vid several months back when someone emailed it to me, It is a very moving video..........I have been fortunate so far as that I have not lost any friends or loved ones in any of our wars, Vietnam, or any of the mid east conflicts, but it still moved me to tears. I have a very high regard for our service personel serving in jour Armed Forces. My daughter is married to an Army veteran of 10 years and he served in the 1st gulf war. These are oustanding people, and my son in law is a great example of who they are. Thanks to all who server so we may remain free in this great country of ours, and a special thanks to our members here who serve, and there are several. .................THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
