I have just purchased an '89 VR with some fairing and fairing mount damage. Was wondering if the fairing stays from an '83 would work? I can get all the fairing stays from an '83 if they will work. Also need to get the complete fairing.

Not really with the supports, too many changes, headlight & cruise that I know of. Possibly more mounting differences, best to stay with mk2 supports, as there will be less modifications to make. Best keep your eyes open, to find the fairings, or can they be fixed??
