I dont know how good this bike lift is, but it looks like a pretty good deal if its halfways decent. Princess Auto has 1000 lb bike lifts on sale for 298.88 starting Tues Dec2. I got the flyer today in advance of the sale. Here is the link to the URL http://www.princessauto.com/_osn.cfm?CTRY=CAN&output=OSN&Factor=1 type 8217234 into their search window on the right to find it

I am going to go in Sat and see how they are made , if they have it set up and kicking around already.

That lift looks real similar to a Kendron lift. I have one but the chock on the front is too narrow for the front tire on my '02 RSV. I ended up getting the adapter from this web site and I found a 1000# lift made like a MC jack that has 30" of lift. Works great. I have about $250.00 invested.

they didnt have it out in the store yet, I was going to go over tonight after work and take my tape measue to make sure the front tire will fit in the chock and that the thing is long enuff for a 9 foot long bike. Let you know tomorrow.

I went to the store today after work and they still dont have one together to look at. The metal looks like a good heavy gauge, but i want to know dimensions and stuff like that. Even the manual doesnt have the measurements in it. The guy insisits he will have one set up by tomorrow afternoon.

TOTAL COST does not include any taxes or freight charges.

These charges will be added to your invoice at the time of shipping.

Shipping costs can run right up there...... $$$$ :whistling:

Hey guys I went and looked at the Princess Auto scoot lift yesterday and while it looks solidly built and has a back hatch that opens to do work around the tire, its just not long enough for our bikes. The back wheel would be balancing on the back edge of the steel plate decking.

No Rick I didnt see that one at all, but the new Princess Auto store here is so big and busy that it was almost impossible to get around to see stuff. It only opened 2 weeks ago and its still a novelty and with the Christmas rush it was getting pretty ugly.
