It's 9am east coast time, GB is 5 hours later so it's 2 pm across the pond.

Assuming you are central time. GB (Greenwich) is 6 hours ahead of you. 8:00 am at your house is 2 PM GB.

I have trouble remembering even though I have lived in quite a few different places and have kids scattered across the world. The way I figure it out is to change the time zone on my computer to whatever area I am interested in at the time.
