Kregerdoodle Posted November 27, 2008 #1 Posted November 27, 2008 Janets ( Lil Tex ) knee surgery went well, it was a very long day, but she is home. Hopefully this will be the last that she has to go through. She has a brace from her hip to the top of her foot, and trying to learn to use crutches is always fun, but she`s getting it... plenty of pain meds, stay off her feet for a few days and all should be good.. Please keep her in your prayers!! Kreg

Squidley Posted November 27, 2008 #6 Posted November 27, 2008 Good News Kreg, Let her know that we are thinking of her and hope for a full and speedy recovery. Happy Thanksgiving to you folks
Yammer Dan Posted November 27, 2008 #7 Posted November 27, 2008 Tell her to get well quick but listen to what they tell her or she could mess it up! keep her down for a while. Rope might work!! Or cuffs and shackles..
Owen Posted November 27, 2008 #8 Posted November 27, 2008 Good news! Tell her to hang in there, it gets better. Margaret had her left knee replaced a month ago and she is doing great! She should be back to work by the first of the year.
sarges46 Posted November 27, 2008 #9 Posted November 27, 2008 Good news! I know this may not agree to some but I believe in physio-therapy and that it works. Or should I say it worked well for Marilyn. She had her knee rebuilt two years ago and followed the instructions of excersises to a tee. She recovered fully and this was important...especially in our job with corrections....you have to be able to fight if need be and a bum knee is not a good thing to have. Our prayers are with Janet for a full recovery.
cecdoo Posted November 27, 2008 #10 Posted November 27, 2008 Glad to hear the surgery went well, hoping for a speedy, painfree recovery, give her our best wishes. Craig and Kim.
TxVenture Posted November 27, 2008 #11 Posted November 27, 2008 Glad to hear all went well. Tell her to do as the Dr. says and stay off of it. Hope to be able to ride with you both this summer. Don H.

Ponch Posted November 27, 2008 #13 Posted November 27, 2008 Now you can't chase her around the sofa for a while. But then I guess you won't have to. She can't get away from you. LOL We hope she heals real soon.
