V7Goose Posted November 26, 2008 Share #2 Posted November 26, 2008 All those nines are a pain - I suggest you just round the shipping up to an even $10M. Goose

GooseI had to go back and look again before I noticed that. I guess he didn't realize he could simply specify shipping not available.
Condor Posted November 27, 2008 Share #4 Posted November 27, 2008 I think it has something to do with the way it's listed. Here's another listing that just ended from a ticked off seller. VENTURE

VENTUREMust be a very recent change to the system, or like you said, the way he listed it. The camper I just bought (ended on the 9th) had the following shipping: "Buyer responsible for vehicle pick-up or shipping." It's been too long since I've listed anything myself, so it's hard telling. Surprising eBay hasn't thrown a fit over the super inflated shipping prices either, with some of the things they complain about.
Ozark Posted November 27, 2008 Share #6 Posted November 27, 2008 Maybe it's just his way of stimulating the trucking industry. Congress has already taken care of everyone else. :mo money::rotfl::rotfl:
bongobobny Posted November 27, 2008 Author Share #7 Posted November 27, 2008 He did say he would ship for a dollar a mile up to 200 miles. Rochester is about 100 miles more or less from here...
