I tried searching the forum but could not find it, but does anybody have a copy of the document the dealer uses to do final assembly of the 2nd Gen RSV?

I would like to read the document as I am just curious as to what the dealer has to install and adjust...

It might help purchasers of new bikes to make sure the dealer did not do something wrong...

I'm at work, but I think I got a copy of the checklist that they filled out during the process when i bought my bike. I'll look when I get home. If I have it I will scan it and get it to you if no one has done so before that.

Ride safe.

I have a copy that was sent to me by and friend who reads the site. It is too large to post 1.2 Megs. I will send it to Don and maybe he can post it.

If you want a copy in the mean time send me an Email or PM with your email

Thanks Leo !

I know I was going to break it into two to post as I it was too big, but I could not do that either. Me thinks Yamaha may have locked it.

Same thing I have with a Virago Manual, Can't print it.

DOES anyone know how to unlock these ??

Here is a list of what the dealer does to the bike when uncrating it.

Install:

Front Wheel

Front fender

Rear view Mirror and grip end

Windshield

Top Cover (the plastic thing that surrounds the ignition switch)

Front and rear Connector holder (this is the clip that holds the connector for the headsets)

Travel trunk

Back rest

Antennas

Passenger seat

Battery

Cylinder head cover plate

Saddlebag ornament

There are torque specs listed.

He must first do it in English and then in French.;)
