How do I find out what number Venture my bike was in the production line of the MM Venture model. Sorry for the ignorance but now that I see everyone posting their number, it makes me question what number mine is..

Thanks

Greetings, I believe it should be the last 3or 4 # in your vin #. It is is inscribed on the frame . Turn handlebars to the left you should be able to see #. Or there should be a sticker on the trunk, outside back.:thumbsup2:

Pardon my ignorance, but what does the MM stand for?

I was wondering the same thing. Also, if anyone is interested, bike number 1 of 1500 is listed on ebay right now. Only has 7K miles and appears to be MINT!

"MM" stands for Millennium

Official Yamaha name was "2000 Venture MM Limited"

Just in case anyone is interested -- I have the Yamaha official spec sheet and description they had on their web site back in the fall of '99... It's in MS Word file format that I can attach to an e-mail or if you need me to I'd be glad to print it and sent to you.... :whistling::whistling::whistling:

Also -- does any of member ride (or know who does) VIN# JYAVP04E8A003009? I bought this bike in early '00 but only had it about 10 months. Just wondering if it's still out there....

M is the Roman Numeral for 1,000

When you put two together like this MM you get 2,000

This years date would be MMVIII

I have a MMVII bike

I am changing my profile now....
