spear Posted November 19, 2008 #1 Posted November 19, 2008 Hey guys, Thought I'd share a couple of pics of my new grandson. This is Toby. So new these photos are 24 hours old. First grandchild, and needless to say the pillion-in-a-million can't wait for a cuddle. Perhaps tomorrow - 400kms away. #1 - Father and son. #2 - Mother and son. #3 Toby.

Give him an extra cuddle for all of us (that might take a while since there's so many of us) I'm sure grandma would do it for us. He's a sweet little guy. Enjoy every minute you can they grow up so fast. Margaret

MamaMo Posted November 19, 2008 #9 Posted November 19, 2008 Grandchildren are great. Ours live next door. Take lots of pics and spoil them. Then send them home. Thats what us grandparents are for. ENJOY.
Sweetnothing Posted November 19, 2008 #10 Posted November 19, 2008 Congrats on the new Grandson!! Enjoy the time that you do get with Toby!! Being a Grandparent is the best....you can have them when you want, and send them home when you don't! Have fun with him, and start building memories now!
Iowawegian Posted November 19, 2008 #11 Posted November 19, 2008 Them cheeks look like they're just askin to be kissed!!!
spear Posted November 23, 2008 Author #12 Posted November 23, 2008 Thank you all so much for you best wishes and 'grandfatherly' advice. Bit hard to spoil this bloke too much - he's 400kms away. Will make it better when we visit. Angie and Toby came home today - about an hour ago and are settling in well. Wendy and I left there yesterday morning, anticipating a home-coming then. Slight delay for medical reasons, but all good now. Couple more pics for you, then I promise I won't bore you any more. It is said that early impressions are important for a baby, so you'll notice that on my first cuddle I wore my Yamaha tee-shirt. Enjoy.

No bore my friend, nice to see him with all 10 fingers and toes. Spoil them when they are little, I loved having mine with us especially when they were under a year old. They grow up way too fast, our are now 10 and 11
