SilvrT Posted November 14, 2008 #1 Posted November 14, 2008 Has anyone modified or replaced these wind deflectors on the bottom edge of the 2nd gen fairing with adjustable ones similar to a Harley Ultra and if so, do you have instructions/pics, etc?

BuddyRich Posted November 14, 2008 #3 Posted November 14, 2008 The lowers fairings on the these bikes is full of wiring and stuff. They make an add on http://images.motorsportdealers.com/common/MediaLibrary/CatalogImages/62/250/744556207.jpg http://www.yamahasportsplaza.com/pages/catalogs/detail/26/207/407/3664/1/0/0/1/4/90/69/338/tinted-lower-wind-vents.aspx
sarges46 Posted November 14, 2008 #4 Posted November 14, 2008 Best I've seen for those on the upper fairing is painted ones. Bigbob had his painted white to match his bike. It looked good. For more wind to the legs the ones posted above work ok.
Lone Eagle Posted November 14, 2008 #5 Posted November 14, 2008 Looks to me like someone is starting to become one with his new bike - eh???:rotf:
SilvrT Posted November 14, 2008 Author #6 Posted November 14, 2008 Looks to me like someone is starting to become one with his new bike - eh???:rotf: heh... dang... figgured sumbody'd find out sooner 'r later ...eh yep... it's a wee bit "nippy" out but I been out ridin almost every evening, getting familiar with it's handling characteristics, etc .... ain't seen no Hardly riders to challenge tho LOL (just kiddin). Even Nina has been with me a couple times although she's feelin the cold more than me...but she loves our new scoot and can't get over how comfortable it is and how much more room she has. I'm still laffin at myself over that "metal filings in the drained oil" episode! LOL
