RoadKill Posted November 13, 2008 #1 Posted November 13, 2008 (edited) Just got off the phone with the Motel 6 where alot of us stayed last year. Their web site was showing now available rooms. However, I was able to book one, (LA we are covered:thumbsup:), If we can get a total of 12 rooms booked there they will give us a discount also. If anyone is interested, PM me and I will call back and talk to the Manager, Trina. NOTE: The gal I talked to said she thought that was Oberlin College graduation day so rooms around there go really fast Jay Edited November 13, 2008 by RoadKill

RoadKill Posted November 16, 2008 Author #16 Posted November 16, 2008 You will need to call the motel directly. Phone: (440) 988-3266. Trina is the manager They did not have a price available yet, but I'm sure its cheaper than the Oberlin Inn. Tell them you are with VentureRider.Org, attending a rally in Oberlin. They said if we could guarantee 12 rooms we could get a discount. I know of 4 rooms to be reserved. Once I know 12 rooms are filled I will call back and start negoiating a price. sorry I can't be more specific.
FROG MAN Posted November 16, 2008 #17 Posted November 16, 2008 The internet says this motel has No Rooms Available for that weekend. I would call them anyway. The Oberlins 20 rooms for the event are gone but they still have rooms at a reduced rate.

The Oberlins 20 rooms for the event are gone but they still have rooms at a reduced rate. They DO have rooms, but you have to call directly. That's how I found out about the discount if we get a committment for 12 rooms. Mine is already reserved
mini-muffin Posted November 17, 2008 #19 Posted November 17, 2008 I got our room. If you call don't push 2 for reservation that takes you to the national reservation call center, you need to either push 3 for front desk or hold on till they pick up. Trina is on vacation I talked to Rachel instead. Can't wait till next year now. Thanks for doing the organizing Roadkill. Margaret

Trina is on vacation I talked to Rachel instead. Can't wait till next year now. Thanks for doing the organizing Roadkill. Margaret Thanks for mentioning that about talking to the front desk. If you go online or to the call center they will tell you they have no rooms. Any one else getting a room let me know so I can keep track of the #. may be able to bring the price down some. Don't know what the price even is yet, but they will take your reservation. This is a decent place to stay and there is a Bob Evans right across the parking lot.
