painterman67 Posted November 9, 2008 #1 Posted November 9, 2008 Many thanks go out from me to you. Especially to those who helped on my bike. She is running much better now, Only a bit of low end hesitation. maybe that will work itself out with the tci box repair. Being new to the group I didn't understand the rules at the dairy queen, so Muffiman and minimuffin the next round is on me. Sorry about that. Now as for Jeff my great appreciation goes out to you as you not only took your time to work on my bike but you also took the time to explain to me how ,why, and what you were doing .Thank you very much. This was a great expierience for me as i felt welcome from the start. So to all whop were there, thanks and I'm looking forward to the next ride hat I can make. David

painterman67 Posted November 9, 2008 Author #6 Posted November 9, 2008 cousin said she had a blast although later on in the day I got a little pi##ed at her. turns out her son (!! years old ) wanted to go and she wouldn't let im. I would have loved to brought him and shown him what real bikes look like. All he's ever been around are harley's and his grandfathers hogsu. (Suzuki back half and harley front end) The party went well also as I was shofering peaple home at 3am. Still tired from that as I had 270 miles to ride home today also. hope to get to another one soon. i hate to miss Jan. but family calls. we haven't sen them in 2 years. Ride safe, David my twin angels

mini-muffin Posted November 10, 2008 #11 Posted November 10, 2008 What are the Dairy Queen rules? He who runs to the counter first laughs at the the rest of us who has to wait? Well come on down and we'll help you learn em. :rotf: Margaret
Bummer Posted November 10, 2008 #12 Posted November 10, 2008 (edited) Well come on down and we'll help you learn em. :rotf: Margaret Another reason to regret not being able to make it. First I miss all the blood, sweat, and tears, and now there are ice cream rules! Is it more complicated than "If you want to eat sherbert or sorbet you have to eat a scoop of Superman ice cream first"? I learned that one at the Dessert First M&E. It's a pretty rough rule too.
