MidlifeVenture Posted November 7, 2008 #1 Posted November 7, 2008 There are always two models of the RSV what accounts for the $600 dollar price difference. Other than paint I don't see that big of difference.
BuddyRich Posted November 7, 2008 #3 Posted November 7, 2008 The midnights have a lot more chrome. Check out the lower forks.
az1103 Posted November 7, 2008 #4 Posted November 7, 2008 The midnights have a lot more chrome. Check out the lower forks. It may not sound like much, but chroming those forks is expensive and maintaining the brushed or polished aluminum which is varnish coated can be a real PIA, particularly if you live anywhere close to the ocean.
MidlifeVenture Posted November 7, 2008 Author #5 Posted November 7, 2008 I love them all and never noticed the added chrome. I bought an 07 Midnight in Sept. and and have managed to put 1200 miles on before the Ohio winter comes rolling in tomorrow. I'll have to pay closer attention next time I come across one There not a dime a dozen like the HD's.I don't see them often around here. But it is a hell of an upgrade from my 81 Goldwing.
got2mnytoys Posted November 7, 2008 #6 Posted November 7, 2008 "There not a dime a dozen like the HD's" That's the very reason I don't have harleys anymore ,go to a rally or at a red light and see your bike everywhere. During the Ohio winter order accessories
