This is way too soon, but it looks like winter weather is headed in to stay tomorrow with daytime highs in negative digits. yuk!! Snow is expected tomorrow and the high for tomorrw and for the next several days is supposed to be between -2 to -8 C (30 - 18F) . Overnight lows are supposed to be getting down to -20c (-4F) starting Thurs nite.

It looks like everyones bike rides around here are done for quite a while now.

Keep warm!

I woke up to snow on the ground this morning. It is warming up though to the mid 30's so it's likely to become rain until tonight when it will get colder.

I did ride to and from work on Monday and Tuesday this week.

Well, it has rained here all day today and we are supposed to get some snow mixed with rain on Sunday. BUT....Eileen and I got in a nice 200 mile ride yesterday evening. We decided to take advantage of what may have been the last really nice riding day for a while. Took a nice ride via the backroads down to the Loudenville and Berlin, OH area. Amish country with a lot of antique shops and etc. Had a very nice time. Got home later last night and it had gotten a bit cool but we were dressed for it and had a great ride.

Well,,,,, I took a ride last night and it was around 8°C and almost clear sky. Never could understand why the guy named this country of ours Iceland:think::think::think:

Supposed to be warm throughout the weekend so I might get a ride or two before packing the bike up for winter.

Remember that I took my last ride last winter the 3rd. of December. O.K. I´ll admit it - It was freezing and I still remember the slipping of the tire on the ice cold asphalt,,,,,but still there was no snow - just cold as he,,$%&.

I got both our bikes put away on the 5th and it snowed on the 6th! Good timing for sure. Now they sit in the shed for the next 5-6 months. This year I will remember to charge the batterys every month even though I have them inside on the bench.

I know what you mean Brian... not as cold down here in Newfoundland yet... but I know it is coming... I had what was probably my last ride on Thursday, it was a balmy 11C here... temps are around 5C > 7C avg daytime now, dipping down below 0C at night. I've got the bike in the garage, not winterized yet, just in case, but I'll probably do it in another two weeks. Now it is just waiting for snow for the sled, which is unfortunately another month and a half away at least... it's the in between "rain - snow - rain" time that's a bummer!
