ahoutzer Posted December 10, 2008 #11 Posted December 10, 2008 42 months - 62,000 miles on my 03 1,500 miles per month average in Maine? I'm impressed!
MAINEAC Posted December 10, 2008 #12 Posted December 10, 2008 I would have done more but in 2006 I only did 6000 miles cuz I was Truckin for America..
eazyduzzit Posted December 10, 2008 #13 Posted December 10, 2008 How do you guys find the time to ride that many miles in such a short time. I think I ride a lot, but I work 40 hrs a week. Are you retired or you just never sleep?
ahoutzer Posted December 10, 2008 #14 Posted December 10, 2008 Most of the time I do not work from home. Therefore, I must get to work. I travel to several locations at work most days. Then I must come home. I also need to get to church and various stores, and need to pick up my six-year-old from school on Thursdays when my wife teaches from 8AM to 8PM. So that's how I get all of those miles in -- about 1,400 miles per month.
MAINEAC Posted December 10, 2008 #15 Posted December 10, 2008 I'm a ATM Tech and I cover New England and use my bike whenever I can... I've also used it on work trips to VA and TX.. Plus when I go for a ride after work it's usually 60 - 100 miles depending on the direction... I usually do FL once or twice a year...
BuddyRich Posted December 11, 2008 #16 Posted December 11, 2008 I was wondering why it rode so ruff. I NEVER changed the AIR in the tires.. :rotf:
Yammer Dan Posted December 11, 2008 #17 Posted December 11, 2008 Mine is 276 months old and has 22k miles!! I think thats about 79 miles a month.

MAINEAC Posted December 11, 2008 #19 Posted December 11, 2008 No I have my own Co... I really don't need much for tools unless I'm doing an install.. I do have a trailer and I used it in MD, VA when I had like 90 modem upgrades to do.. It worked out pretty good.
guns_usn_20 Posted January 12, 2009 #20 Posted January 12, 2009 (edited) 07 RSTD . I have 25000 miles on it. It is put up fot the winter. When I had my truck down for head gasket I had to ride my RSTD to work and back 70 mi round trip plus trips to the Dragon in TN/NC to western ky and other parts of KY. I'll miss 6-12 months of good ridin time when I deploy to Iraq on march 1st. It's all about the $$. Gunner Edited January 15, 2009 by guns_usn_20
