Sleeperhawk Posted November 4, 2008 #1 Posted November 4, 2008 We are off to vote. Expecting 2 hours at minimum in line even at this time of day.

Redneck Posted November 4, 2008 #3 Posted November 4, 2008 We voted 2 weeks ago 10 minutes in and out. And we voted the right way.

FROG MAN Posted November 4, 2008 #7 Posted November 4, 2008 I voted last week. I passed the poling places this morning and nobody was there at 7:00 am. My neighbors won't be sober enough to vote until this afternoon.
BoomerCPO Posted November 4, 2008 #10 Posted November 4, 2008 Saltydawg and I did it first thing this morning...oh, and we voted ,too. ROFL!!!!!!!!

Black Owl Posted November 4, 2008 #12 Posted November 4, 2008 Regardless of one's political leanings, this election will change the face of American politics for a long time to come. So, vote your heart or vote your conscience, but out of respect for all who have stood in harms way to guarantee your right to vote, get out and vote
Bummer Posted November 4, 2008 #13 Posted November 4, 2008 Indiana's been pushing early voting to avoid long lines. Yesterday the line at the City County building was not just out the door, but it was three blocks long.
Condor Posted November 4, 2008 #14 Posted November 4, 2008 It's hard to believe the reports of all the long lines to vote. We've lived here 35 years and have always walked right in and voted. In and out.... 5 minutes...
rod Posted November 4, 2008 #16 Posted November 4, 2008 Voted in at 7:00 am out in 5 min. No lines at all yet. Rod
jrcain32 Posted November 4, 2008 #17 Posted November 4, 2008 Just got back from voting. In and out in 5 minutes.
Mariner Fan Posted November 4, 2008 #18 Posted November 4, 2008 It was about a 20 minute wait for me. First time I've ever stood in line to vote. Not bad all in all.
SaltyDawg Posted November 4, 2008 #19 Posted November 4, 2008 Saltydawg and I did it first thing this morning...oh, and we voted ,too.
mini-muffin Posted November 4, 2008 #20 Posted November 4, 2008 I voted, no line at all. They did say they had a large number doing early voting around here. Jeff did on saturday. Guess now we wait to see what happens. I've only waited a few times in lines usually presidential years, but not this time. Margaret
Nighthawk II Posted November 4, 2008 #21 Posted November 4, 2008 In the door and out again 15 mins. No one was there but it took the little blue haired lady about 10 mins to find my name in the book. She wouldn't allow anyone to help her look.
BIG TOM Posted November 4, 2008 #22 Posted November 4, 2008 JUST CAME BACK FROM VOTING..ONE OLD LADY IN FRONT OF ME TOOK FOREVER TO VOTE..NEXT TIME ,TATERS VOTES AFTER ME..
Sleeperhawk Posted November 4, 2008 Author #24 Posted November 4, 2008 Mechanic and I stood in line for 3 hours, from most at work average time is 2.5 hours here in Columbia, SC. But we did vote.
SaltyDawg Posted November 4, 2008 #25 Posted November 4, 2008 I don't trust early voting. Too many ways for the information to leak out and allow politicians to change tactics.
