BradT Posted November 3, 2008 #1 Posted November 3, 2008 Started out cold and never got any better. Swifty stopped by about 10 and was not sure about the weather. It was 5c (40f ), and with the wind in places it was cold. About a half hour later we stopped for gas and he wanted to know if it was too cold or if we were wanted to Venture further. Rhonda said if he goes home we were still going for a ride, so of course he continued on. (I am sure he did not want to be out-done by Rhonda). As we riding along he follows a car into a small Private subdivision, and the houses were amazingly large and there was a lot of them. On the way back out just before we get to the road the gate closes, locking us in. We all look at each other and wonder how to open it . No buttons and no way to open it. Figured there was a sensor or something, but nothing. Couldn't ride around the gate, because of the rock gardens, that Rhonda wanted us to ride through. Anyway I walk around to the entrance and start dialing buttons on the intercom, untill someone answered and let us out. We were gone for about 5 hours and stopped for a warm lunch. Then made a quick stop in a parking lot, so Swifty could play. MAINEAC Posted November 3, 2008 #6 Posted November 3, 2008 I went out for a ride yesterday too... They said it was supposed to get in the 40s but it never got above 38... I've been on the road for 3 weeks and haven't done any riding in a while... It's supposed to get in the 50s this week..
juggler Posted November 3, 2008 #7 Posted November 3, 2008 For once I'm on the warm side of the discussion. I rode to work today in balmy 50's and it's supposed to hit the 70's here in Minnesota. Woo Woo.
