Just drove from Pennsylvania to Conway, South Carolina to help my daughter. She was involved in an accident on 501, near Coastal Carolina University where she attends school.

 

Met with her as she was leaving the hospital with a broken hand, bruising, and light air bag burns. She is very lucky!

 

The car on the other hand is totaled. I will be meeting with the insurance adjuster sometime Monday, hopefully early in the morning.

 

Any forum members in S.C. know a good ,honest, dealer for a used car in the nearby area?

Try contacting Poledar (Bill Darling, 843-222-5137), he lives in the Myrtle Beach area.

 

Over here in the Columbia area, lots of car dealers, but have not bought a car since I have been here.

 

Glad your daughter was not hurt worse than the broken hand/wrist.

Poledar lives in Myrtle Beach, sleeperhawk and the mechanic live in Columbia. You might try getting in touch with one of them or check the SC list to see who else lives close by.

Just another bump in the road when trying to raise and help three daughters.

 

So. if someone knows of a good dealership or wholesaler in the area let me know. If not I will buy something out of PA and make another trip down.

 

I was looking for a RSV but that is on hold again...
