Squeeze Posted November 2, 2008 #2 Posted November 2, 2008 I jump started Bikes a hundred Times with a Car or even a Big Truck Battery. If you ensure the right Polarity and the same Voltage, there nothing which can go wrong
GeorgeS Posted November 2, 2008 #3 Posted November 2, 2008 Fabricate a set of Jumper Cables, Useing #12 or #10 Stranded Wire. Find Clips that will fit your Motorcycle battery, and on the other end use Clips from an old Set of Car jumper cables. I have two sets of these, carry one in each bike. Don't take up to much space.

Skid Posted November 2, 2008 #5 Posted November 2, 2008 I carry a pair of homemade jumper cables on the bike. I cut the cables off of an old battery charger and put a smaller set of clips on one end to fit the bike. They came in handy a couple times, just asked Yammer Dan. Works greats.
