Danimal Posted November 2, 2008 #1 Posted November 2, 2008 Hey folks I don't post often but I lurk almost daily. Having said that I believe you all to be pretty solid well informed people. So here goes it, I believe that my wife is cheating on me! Here's what has led me to think this. Lately she's been going out with the girls after work. When I ask who they are she just says you don't know them there just some girlfriends from work. Also it seems that lately if I answer the phone, the caller hangs up but if she does its a conversation thats private and she just leaves the room. Then I grabbed her cell the other day to check what time it was, You'd have thought I had a bomb in my hands the way she rushed over and grabbed that phone. She said that I didn't need to check the time on the phone I could have just walked into the kitchen to check the wall clock? I noticed that these friends always drop her off a few houses down or around the corner, I asked her why. She said she just wants to get some fresh air. So tonight I'm taking a shower and when I get out there's a note on the counter. It says the gals called and she was just gonna have a couple of drinks that she'd be home in an hour or so. Well I'd had enough, I decided I was gonna get a good look at these friends when they dropped her off! So I roll the venture down to the street so I can hide behind it and get a good look when she get's back. That's when I noticed that one of my plug wires it cracked and looks pretty worn. Is this something I can fix myself or should I take it to the dealer? Thanks in advance I know I can count on you folks when it comes to maintenance. Danimal
1BigDog Posted November 2, 2008 #3 Posted November 2, 2008 Since the bike is still under warranty let the dealer deal with it. For the wife, well, there are some hit-men in NYC that could use the extra work.......
petekadish Posted November 2, 2008 #4 Posted November 2, 2008 I was reading along was all concerned and ready for the big finish, when all of a sudden the story changed direction and went from a suspected affair to a plug with worn wires? I hope that the plug turns out to be your greater concern. Sure, wires and plugs can all be replaced. Of course, it's best to have someone who is experienced with that sort of a thing to do the work. Good luck on both situations! Pete.
az1103 Posted November 2, 2008 #5 Posted November 2, 2008 This is some kind of Halloween joke, right?
Bigfoot Posted November 2, 2008 #6 Posted November 2, 2008 I'm fairly certain this is all a big joke.
Tom Posted November 2, 2008 #7 Posted November 2, 2008 The Motorcycle always comes first..That is a REAL crisis when something is wrong with MY bike!
Squeeze Posted November 2, 2008 #8 Posted November 2, 2008 Hi, i'm really sorry for your Concerns about your Wife. I hope that will go away soon. Regarding the Wire, now this is a sad Story. You can fix it yourself, but i'm very sorry to say that. AFAIK, the Wires on your Bike are molded into the Coil and if you want to stay with that, you might need a new Coil ... :missingtooth::fingers-crossed-emo btw .. good Joke, i smelled it but i got a good Laugh anyway.
Freebird Posted November 2, 2008 #9 Posted November 2, 2008 LOL....that was good the way you told it. Actually had me going for a few moments. I've seen it before presented as a letter to Dear Abby.
bongobobny Posted November 2, 2008 #10 Posted November 2, 2008 Uhhhh, let the professionals replace your wife???
Bob Myers Posted November 2, 2008 #11 Posted November 2, 2008 LOL....that was good the way you told it. Actually had me going for a few moments. I've seen it before presented as a letter to Dear Abby. Yea, and it had an oil leak too. Must've got the oil leak fixed.
Danimal Posted November 2, 2008 Author #12 Posted November 2, 2008 Yeah I saw it on the Kawi forum, thought someone might get a kick out of it. It gave me a full belly laugh. I haven't had one of those since the federal buyout. I showed it to my wife over there and she said you gotta pass that one along. I hope you folks thought it was funny too. Apologies if I offended anyone. If I had put it in the joke area you all would've been on to me before the end. The really good news is my spark plug wire is fine! But I knew noone would buy the oil leak story, so I changed it up a little. Oh yeah, my wife probably wouldn't cheat on me cause I'd divorce her. What's half of $150,000 of debt? She just can't afford that . At least I don't think so... Have a great rest of your weekend everyone.---Danimal
tomfromhull Posted November 2, 2008 #13 Posted November 2, 2008 The next time you hide behind the bike looking to see what girlfriend drops her off, hide on the other side of the bike so you can check the other wires.
