Older... Posted November 1, 2008 #1 Posted November 1, 2008 Taking advantage of early voting, the wife and I voted today. No lines, no problems. Done for another four years. Hopefully all those who should/could vote, will vote.

ArcsSparks Posted November 2, 2008 #7 Posted November 2, 2008 Voting is important, informed voting is better. I voted early glad I did
Schlepporello Posted November 2, 2008 #8 Posted November 2, 2008 The wife and I voted early as well. Early voting opened for us on October 20. We usually use the county annex building when we vote as it is but a few blocks away. However, we heard that people were literally camping out on the sidewalk there in order to vote. One of the buildings for our ISD was set up for early voting in our county also, so we gave that a shot. To our surprise, we walked straight in, registered, and went straight to a booth. We also voted for the right candidate, though I'm not really thrilled with either candidate. But if I don't vote, I have no authority to gripe when the candidate takes office and immediately becomes stupid. It gripes me though, both parties have men who would be far better choices than these two clowns we have to choose from now. I think we're being "punked".
az1103 Posted November 2, 2008 #10 Posted November 2, 2008 Unfortunately, some voted who shouldn't have..... I saw a story on the news today of a teacher in an adult "supervised environment" organization proudly telling everyone how he coached all of his "students" and then drove them all en-masse to vote for Obama!!! The reporter then asked several of the Down syndrome "students" who they voted for! It broke your heart to see them struggle for an answer! Only one of them was able to say "fo de bwak man" after hemming and hawing a bit. The rest couldn't say or remember! All I can say after seeing that, is that the whole process is rotten and perverted and we have no business telling other countries that there is something wrong with their voting systems. I'll get off now.....
FROG MAN Posted November 2, 2008 #11 Posted November 2, 2008 I voted last weekend. So why is my phone still ringing with all those political calls?
