Rich99 Posted October 30, 2008 #1 Posted October 30, 2008 Got to thinking and was just wondering how many here ride in Veteran's Day Parades. Did two last year with the PGR in Pleasanton and Fresno of which Fresno's was broadcast on live TV. Had 30+ bikes in both parade's. Fresno's was a little on the wet side for 125 miles on the way there and kept quite a few away. So just trying to drum up a little conversation and it looks like rain is in the forcast again for this Sunday in Pleasanton, but at least it's a short one.
Rich99 Posted October 30, 2008 Author #2 Posted October 30, 2008 Should have started this thread in the morning, everybody is in bed now, oh well, I guess when it disappears, I'll bump it up in the morning for one more try, nite-nite.
navydavy Posted October 30, 2008 #3 Posted October 30, 2008 Not too late for me... but then it's 11:40 pm and I just got to work. I'll be riding in a couple of Southern California Veteran's Day Parades, both of them with the PGR. On Saturday the 8th will be the Long Beach parade, and then on Tuesday the 11th there's one in San Fernando Valley. I get two "personal holidays" a year, and I always take 9/11 and Veteran's Day. I'm looking forward to the parades and honoring our vets.

I don't know where the count is at the moment, the last I heard, there were more than 165,000 in the PGR of which just a handful belong to this site, that's why I was interested to see how many ride in the parade's. So hopefully, we can find out if there is a few more out there, thanks.
